About
Tianjin is a large city located in northern China. Architectural style in Tianjin is amazingly diversified. As Gail Hershatter in her book The Workers of Tianjin points out: While there it lacked architectural coherence, this chaotic urban layout had a historical logic, for Tianjin was a city built in waves – of foreigners, Chinese officials, warlords, and merchants. Culture, people and history of Tianjin form a mind puzzling experience for visitors.

I was born and bred in Tianjin, China. I have spent recent few years out of China. People living overseas long enough know: you can never go back home. Tianjin changed so much during the last few years, every time I go back home, it makes me few like a traveler. I set up this blog to tell stories about my beautiful hometown. It's history, architecture, culture and people.
